Let’s not all get our hopes about the upcoming Bosworth-Kang summit in Pyongyang.  US Special Representative Stephen Bosworth and his travel party are set to depart to Pyongyang within the next six hours.  In a report from Yonhap, an unnamed official providing background said, “The issue (of a peace treaty) can be discussed if North Korea promises to come back to the Six Party Talks.”  Now, perhaps Pyongyang watcher can start wagering on who will be designated to greet Bosworth at the airport.

Meanwhile, Ambassador Bosworth will arrive in Moscow on 13 December, as part of his post-Pyongyang Six Party mini-tour.
