Performance Commemorating 81st Anniversary for WPK Foundation

As the fiery trust in the Workers’ Party of Korea — the great guide of the Chuch’e revolution and the invincible vanguard — grows ever more sublimated along with the meaningful October holiday, the celebration performance for the 81st anniversary of the Party’s founding was splendidly held at Pyongyang Indoor Stadium on October 10.

The venue overflowed with warm recollection and reverence for the Party’s sacred history of founding and its immortal achievements — a Party that, from the day it set out with the red banner fluttering over Mt. Paektu and engraved with the image of the people, has for a long period maintained without the slightest deviation or change its unique revolutionary character and essence, and has opened the era of dignity and glory long awaited by all generations of this land.

Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea and President of the State Affairs of the DPRK, watched the performance.

All participants erupted in loud cheers of “Manse!” as they paid the highest glory and respect to Comrade Kim Jong Un — the great leader of the ever‑victorious Workers’ Party of Korea, and the symbol and representative of our state’s dignity and might.

Comrade Kim Jong Un warmly acknowledged the enthusiastic cheers and extended congratulations to all participants on the occasion of Party Foundation Day.

Members of the WPK Central Committee Political Bureau Presidium, leading officials of the Party and government, officials of the Party Central Committee, ministries, central institutions, and military organs, creators and artists in the capital, youth and students, and Pyongyang citizens watched the performance together.

Diplomatic representatives of several countries stationed in our country and members of their missions were invited.

Beginning with the prelude “Long Live the Workers’ Party of Korea” and “Fly High, Our Party Flag,” the performance featured a variety of numbers that artistically harmonized nationwide songs praising the Party and patriotic songs with vocal music, dance, acrobatics, gymnastics, and military ceremonial music.

Singing the hymns to our Party born from the people’s sacred experience, the performers highly praised the glorious history and immortal achievements of the Workers’ Party of Korea — which, over more than 80 years, has traversed the arduous yet sacred pioneering path of the socialist cause, built on this land a dignified state loyal to the people’s dreams and ideals, and created grand miracles and transformations that astonish the world across centuries and decades.

The audience gave enthusiastic applause to masterpieces that deeply impressed them with pride in the greatness and strength of the Workers’ Party of Korea — which has inscribed the world’s longest ruling history while advancing the most just mission and lofty ideals — and with the immense honor and fortune of having a wise political general staff that confidently guides our cause along the straight course of victory.

A succession of colorful numbers filled with the people’s ardent aspirations and passion to uphold our motherly Party with single‑minded loyalty and steadfastly achieve the grand ambition of comprehensive socialist development unfolded on stage.

The performance concluded with the finale “National Anthem of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea,” further strengthening the conviction and optimism that because the great Workers’ Party of Korea guides us, the path we take is always the path of justice and truth, and the future that greets us will be endlessly beautiful and bright.

The performance, filled with unwavering songs of conviction and patriotic songs that will endure to the end of the world and the end of time, received high praise from the audience.

Comrade Kim Jong Un expressed satisfaction with the performance and warmly acknowledged the performers and spectators.

The celebration performance for the 81st anniversary of the founding of the Workers’ Party of Korea joyfully adorned the most sacred and glorious holiday — the holiday of the great mother that the entire people acclaim.
