Ju Ae Goes Casual?

The photos released by DPRK state media on 22 September 2026 of a Missile General Bureau test held on 20 September show a young woman accompanying Kim Jong Un (KJU) assumed to be his daughter Kim Ju Ae.   ROK media captioned the woman as Ju Ae when it syndicated the state media images, probably based on prior events.

However, the young woman in the photos may not be the individual previously identified as Ju Ae based on physical characteristics (height, facial metrics, hair) and clothing style.   There is a caveat.  The available photos only show the individual from the side (quartered stance) and back which makes impedes a precise, positive identification.

This raises the possibility that another daughter of Kim Jong Un attended the 20 September event.
