DPRK state media reported on January 15 (Monday) that Workers’ Party of Korea [WPK] Vice Chairman, State Affairs Commission Vice Chairman and Director of the WPK Organization Guidance Department [Organizational Leadership] Choe Ryong Hae [Ch’oe Ryo’ng-hae] visited Sinu’iju Cosmetics Factory and Sokha Cooperative Farm. Also in attendance were North P’yo’ngan WPK Provincial Committee Chairman Kim Nung O [Kim Nu’ng-o] and officials of the North P’yo’ngan Province People’s Committee.
Whilst going around the cosmetics factory, Choe encouraged “the producers in their devoted struggle” and stressed “the need to turn the production processes in the labor and electricity-saving one to ensure the quality and quantity of products on a higher level.” Choe then toured the Sokha Cooperative Farm “which undergone a radical change as befitting the modern socialist farm.” Choe said that the “farmers should do farming by dint of science and technology, not forgetting the benevolence of the Party thus overfulfill their plan for the state cereals production this year.” He underscore the “need to to conduct dynamic campaign in which one overtakes and learns from others and swaps experience with each other.”
