DPRK state media reported that on December 9th 2017, State Affairs Commission Vice Chairman and DPRK Premier Pak Pong Ju (Pak Pong-chu) toured the Namhu’ng Youth Chemical Complex. During a consultative meeting, he stressed “the need to provide the agricultural front with more fertilizers” and he “took measures to supply raw materials for the complex for the production.”
He also inspected the Posan Iron Works and the Pyongyang Essential Oil Factory. “He called for stepping up the work to put the production process on a Juche and modern basis and discussed the problems arising in finishing the updating project within the fixed date.”
