DPRK Premier Visits Hwanghae Iron and Steel, Pyongyang Factories

DPRK state media reported that on November 29th, 2017, State Affairs Commission Vice-chairman and Premier Pak Pong Ju (Pak Pong-chu) toured the Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex where he “encouraged the workers of the complex in a dynamic offensive towards the victory of socialism”. An on the spot consultative meeting was held “to discuss the measures for perfecting the production process at the complex and hitting its high goal of Chuch’e iron production with its own efforts, and domestic technology and resources.” He also inspected the Pyongyang Lift (elevator) Factory and the Pyongyang Construction Machinery Factory where he stressed “the need to produce more modern construction equipment.”
