As he toured a distance learning lecture hall and design room, Choe learned “about the goal of the university to greet the 5th anniversary of the respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un’s (Kim Cho’ng-u’n) field guidance to the university with successes in education and scientific researches and the execution of it and pointed out the matters arising in training more architectural talents who are armed with the Party’s Chuch’e-based idea on architecture and possessed of high ability.”

A consultative meeting was convened which addressed “issues of enhancing qualifications and sense of responsibility of teachers, steadily improving the educational conditions and environment and intensifying the party guidance over the educational work and scientific researches.”  Choe also inspected a stock-breeding production unit on the campus where he “underlined the need to generalize the success being made by the university which is putting the production of meat and eggs on a normal footing of high level in reliance on science and technology.”
