DPRK-Cuba Solidarity Committee Meets

The DPRK Committee for Solidarity with Cuba held its annual meeting on February 20 (Tuesday).  Among those attending from the DPRK side were DPRK Education Commission Chairman Kim Sung Du [Kim Su’ng-du], who serves as chair of the solidarity committee,  Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries Vice Chairman So Ho Won [So Ho-wo’n], Cuban Ambassador to the DPRK Jesús Aise Sotolongo and DPRK and Cuban officials.  The meeting “reviewed the work conducted by the solidarity committee in the last one year to actively support the just cause of the fraternal Cuban people vigorously struggling for independence against imperialism and for socialism under the leadership of the Communist Party of Cuba, and discussed its action program for this year.”
