DPRK state media reported on February 2 (Friday) that Premier and State Affairs Commission Vice Chairman Pak Pong Ju [Pak Pong-chu] inspected the Pyongyang Dental Hygiene Products Factory. He toured various areas of the factory and “encouraged its officials and employees in dedicating wisdom and enthusiasm to keeping the production going at a high rate and providing the people with quality dental hygiene products.” Pak convened a consultative meeting where “measures were taken to meticulously organize the management and produce more diverse products conducive to promoting the people’s health.
Pak also conducted inspections of the science exhibition hall of the State Academy of Sciences, as well as the Pyongyang Pharmaceutical Factory. He called for “introducing earlier innovative successes made by scientists and technicians into major sectors of the national economy.” Pak Pong Ju also “urged the relevant units to satisfactorily supply raw and other materials to the factories related to public health.”
