KPA High Command Hold Ceremony Pay Respects to KIS, KJI

The Korean People’s Army [KPA] high command held a ceremony at the plaza of the Ku’msusan Plaza of the Sun on April 13 (Friday) marking Sun’s Day.  They paid their respects to the late DPRK President and founder Kim Il Sung (Kim Il-so’ng) and late DPRK leader Kim Jong Il (Kim Cho’ng-il).  They also pledged their loyalty to Kim Jong Un (Kim Cho’ng-u’n).

In attendance were Director of the KPA General Political Department VMar Kim Jong Gak (Kim Cho’ng-kak), Chief of the KPA General Staff VMar Ri Myong Su (Ri Myo’ng-su), Minister of the People’s Armed Forces Gen. Pak Yong Sik (Pak Yo’ng-sik), and other members of the KPA’s high command.

Kim Jong Gak delivered a speech of “deep respects to the great Generalissimos (KIS and KJI) and pledging loyalty” to Kim Jong Un.  VMar Kim expressed the “pledge of faith and will of all the service personnel to hold Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il in high esteem for all ages and discharge the duty as army of the Party and the pillar and main force of the revolution and firmly defend the socialist country by intensifying the militant and political training under the guidance of Kim Jong Un.”

After the speaking program, there was a troop reviews and KPA officers and service members marched past a review platform.
