Pak Pong Ju Visits S. Hamgyo’ng

DPRK state media reported on February 26, 2017 (Sunday) State Affairs Commission and DPRK Premier, Pak Pong Ju (Pak Pong-chu), toured “key enterprises in Hamhu’ng City” including Hu’ngnam Fertilizer Complex, February 8 Vinalon Complex and Ryongsong Machine Complex. Also in attendance were Minister of Machine Ri Jong Guk (Ri Cho’ng-kuk) and Minister of Chemical Industry and Vice Premier Ri M Yong (Ri Mu-yo’ng) On the spot consultative meeting were held and “called for bringing about innovation in the production of Chuch’e fertilizer, vinaln and custom-built equipment amid the flame of creating new advance speed.” They also discussed measures “to provide raw and the materials in time and in a responsible way by learning from the fighting spirit and the work style of those who created Kangwo’n spirit.

Pak Pong Ju also toured the Hu’ngnam Terminal Factory and Sinp’o Distant-Sea Fishery Complex and “pressed for measures for solving the issue of ensuring local production of terminals, modernizing the complex and renovating the production processes of the Sinp’o Canned Fish Factory.”
